FSM25 Systems for C. Elegans and Zebrafish Research

Kramer Scientific has an FSM25 Stereo Microscope system that is ideal for work with C. elegans and Zebrafish. Like all of our microscopes, this model is available for our customers worldwide. Our FSM25 is unusual in that it can be adapted for GFP fluorescence illumination. Our FSM25 is sought after as a low-cost choice for rapid picking, tagging, and manipulation of transgenic species.

It boasts a vivid depth of field, bright light-output, more visible fluorescence tags, long working-distance objectives, and magnification capabilities of 0.67x - 90x (depending on the objective utilized). The sleek base and pass through fluorescence design make this a low profile, high-efficiency tool for any lab.

FBS25 Standard

The standard FBS25 has a plate base. With no transmitted light, it demonstrates fluorescence capabilities only. This system can accept up to two fluorescence filter sets into the filter set slider. It also comes standard with a 3mm liquid light guide adapter, but it can be upgraded to a custom cool LED adapter and light source honed for GFP fluorescence illumination.

FBS25 LX

Our FBS25 LX offers a sleek LED-transmitted light base that also contains fluorescence capabilities. This system can accept up to one fluorescence filter set into the filter set slider in order to maintain transmitted light capabilities. This system comes standard with a 3mm liquid light guide adapter but like the standard, can be upgraded to a custom cool LED-adapter and light source honed for GFP fluorescence illumination.
